In a high-scoring affair, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Tennessee Titans 63-45 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. This matchup was critical for both teams as they look to solidify their standings early in the season, but it was the Jaguars who emerged victorious with an explosive offensive display. Trevor Lawrence was the star of the night, throwing for a staggering 585 yards and an impressive eight touchdowns, showcasing his elite arm talent and precision. Brashard Smith was his favorite target, hauling in an eye-popping 380 receiving yards, creating mismatches all over the field. Despite a modest rushing performance from Bhayshul Tuten, who managed just 33 yards on the ground, the Jaguars' air attack proved to be more than enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Jaguars had some standout performances, particularly from Foyesade Oluokun, who contributed five total tackles. However, the turning point came when Alontae Taylor of the Titans intercepted Lawrence five times, attempting to shift momentum back to Tennessee. Ultimately, the Jaguars' high-octane offense overwhelmed the Titans, who simply could not keep pace despite a strong effort on defense.
