The Buffalo Bills secured a decisive 17-3 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 8 of the 2027 season, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With both teams striving for a critical win, the Bills showcased their dominance, particularly in the air and on defense. Quarterback Josh Allen led the offensive charge for Buffalo, throwing for 166 yards and two touchdowns, making key connections with Khalil Shakir, who racked up 85 receiving yards. Despite a lackluster ground game, the Bills' aerial attack proved to be more than enough to keep the Patriots at bay. Defensively, the Bills were relentless, with standout performances from Jordan Hancock, who recorded three total tackles, and Greg Rousseau, who notched a sack. The turning point came when Christian Benford intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive for New England and allowing Buffalo to maintain momentum as they pulled ahead in the game.
