The Houston Texans secured a decisive victory over the New York Giants, winning 31-9 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Texans solidify their place in the playoff race, while the Giants continue to struggle to find their footing this season. Quarterback Joe Flacco was the standout for Houston, throwing for 212 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his command of the offense. On the receiving end, Jayden Higgins was a constant threat, racking up 99 receiving yards, while the Texans' balanced attack kept the Giants' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Texans made their presence felt with key plays that shifted momentum. Derek Stingley Jr. intercepted two passes, halting any chance of a Giants comeback and sealing the game for Houston. The Texans' pressure, highlighted by Sheldon Rankins' sack, kept Flacco's counterpart in check, allowing Houston to control the game effectively.
