In a thrilling Week 10 showdown, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Detroit Lions with a final score of 40-38. This victory was crucial for Seattle as they continue their push for playoff positioning in the competitive 2027 season. Jalen Milroe was the star of the night for the Seahawks, throwing for an impressive 392 yards and five touchdowns. His connection with Jaxon Smith-Njigba was particularly lethal, as Smith-Njigba racked up 220 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and make big plays. Despite a modest ground game, with Jadarian Price leading the rush with only 31 yards, the Seahawks' aerial attack proved too much for the Lions to handle. On the defensive side, Nick Emmanwori led the Seahawks with eight tackles, contributing to a performance that kept the Lions in check when it mattered most. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Julian Love intercepted a pass, halting a potential game-winning drive for Detroit and allowing Seattle to secure the victory. Byron Murphy II added pressure with half a sack, further solidifying the Seahawks' defensive presence.
