In a thrilling Week 12 showdown, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Tennessee Titans, finishing with a final score of 29-23. This victory keeps the Texans firmly in playoff contention, while the Titans will need to regroup as the season winds down. Joe Flacco led the Texans’ offensive charge, throwing for an impressive 374 yards and keeping his team in rhythm throughout the game. He found Nico Collins frequently, who racked up 149 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to create separation and make big plays. Meanwhile, David Montgomery contributed significantly on the ground with 72 rushing yards, providing the Texans with a balanced attack that proved vital in crunch time. Defensively, the Titans were aggressive, with Haason Reddick recording 2.5 sacks, putting pressure on Flacco and disrupting the Texans' timing. However, the turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Texans' defense stepped up to stifle a potential game-tying drive, forcing a turnover on downs. Despite the Titans’ efforts, including a strong performance from Cedric Gray with 10 tackles, it was Houston's ability to hold off the Titans that sealed their hard-fought victory.
