In a hard-fought battle on the gridiron, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Miami Dolphins 21-14 in Week 16 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams showcased their determination, but it was the Jaguars who emerged victorious, solidifying their postseason aspirations. Trevor Lawrence led the way for Jacksonville, throwing for 208 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating his poise under pressure. Meanwhile, Malik Willis put up impressive numbers for Miami, racking up 244 passing yards and keeping his team competitive. Cam Coleman was a standout in the receiving game for the Dolphins, amassing 111 yards, yet it wasn't enough to clinch the win. Defensively, the Dolphins were relentless, with Jordyn Brooks leading the charge and notching 12 total tackles. Antonio Johnson added a sack, while Chris Johnson snagged an interception, helping to keep the Dolphins in striking distance. However, the turning point came late in the game when the Jaguars’ defense held strong in the red zone, ultimately preserving the lead and securing the victory.
