In a thrilling Wildcard Round matchup, the Arizona Cardinals topped the Dallas Cowboys 28-21, securing their place in the next stage of the playoffs. Both teams entered the game with high expectations, but it was the Cardinals who rose to the occasion and delivered a strong performance to advance in the 2027 postseason. Deshaun Watson was the star of the night for Arizona, throwing for three touchdowns and guiding his team to key scoring drives. Dak Prescott kept the Cowboys competitive, racking up 319 passing yards and connecting with KaVontae Turpin, who amassed 137 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cardinals’ offensive firepower. Jeremiyah Love also made an impact on the ground, contributing 70 rushing yards to help maintain Arizona's momentum. Defensively, the Cardinals disrupted the Cowboys' rhythm, with Dalvin Tomlinson leading the charge with two sacks. Will Johnson's interception proved to be a critical moment, shifting the momentum away from Dallas when it mattered most. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Arizona’s defense held strong, allowing the Cardinals to maintain their lead and seal the victory.
