The New York Giants secured a decisive 33-21 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff ambitions. With both teams vying for positioning in the league, this win was crucial for the Giants to maintain momentum in the competitive NFC East. Jaxson Dart was the star of the night for New York, throwing for 224 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense effectively. His connection with the receiving corps, particularly in critical moments, helped the Giants pull away from the Colts. Despite a strong effort from Jonathan Taylor on the ground with 104 rushing yards for Indianapolis, the Giants' offense proved too potent to contain. Defensively, the Giants made their presence felt, led by Jevon Holland, who recorded 10 total tackles, ensuring that the Colts' offensive plays were often met with resistance. A crucial turning point came when D.J. Reader sacked the Colts' quarterback, shifting momentum back to New York and allowing them to capitalize on the ensuing possession. This defensive pressure was instrumental in the Giants holding off any potential comeback from Indianapolis.
