In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Giants narrowly defeated the New Orleans Saints with a final score of 20-17. This Week 6 clash had significant implications for both teams as they jockey for playoff positioning in the 2026 season. Giants quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the charge, throwing for 243 yards, effectively managing the game and distributing the ball to keep the Saints' defense on their heels. On the other side, Jalen Hurts connected for one touchdown pass, while Zay Flowers emerged as a standout receiver for the Saints, racking up 110 receiving yards. Saquon Barkley contributed on the ground with 59 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory. Defensively, the Giants were led by Alex Singleton, who tallied eight total tackles, helping to stifle the Saints' offensive efforts. The turning point came when Mike Jackson intercepted a crucial pass, shifting momentum back to the Giants and setting up a key scoring drive. Despite Danielle Hunter's two sacks for New Orleans, the Giants' defense proved vital in sealing the win.
