In a tightly contested matchup, the Tennessee Titans topped the Indianapolis Colts 24-18 in Week 17 of the 2028 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but the Titans emerged victorious, solidifying their postseason hopes while the Colts fell short in their quest for a wildcard spot. Drake Maye had a standout performance for the Colts, throwing for 236 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense. He connected with Christian Watson for 117 receiving yards, demonstrating a potent chemistry that kept the Titans' defense on their toes. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs contributed significantly on the ground with 74 rushing yards, providing a balanced offensive attack. Defensively, the Colts struggled to contain the Titans, allowing key plays that shifted momentum throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Titans' defense made a crucial stop to prevent a potential game-tying drive. Although Terrel Bernard led the Colts with nine tackles, the lack of consistent pressure, with only half a sack from Winston Reid, allowed the Titans to maintain control and ultimately secure the win.
