In a thrilling back-and-forth contest, the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 41-33 in Week 12 of the 2028 season. With playoff hopes on the line, both teams fought fiercely, but it was the Raiders who ultimately emerged victorious, solidifying their position in the postseason race. Lamar Jackson was the star of the night for Las Vegas, throwing for an impressive 436 yards and five touchdowns. He connected frequently with Tucker Kraft, who racked up 223 receiving yards, making critical catches that kept the Raiders' offense firing on all cylinders. On the ground, Jeremiyah Love led the Jaguars with 156 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Raiders' aerial assault. Defensively, the game featured standout performances but ultimately came down to key moments. Jaylen McClain recorded a crucial sack that stifled a Jaguars drive, while Jeremiah Cooper led the Jaguars with seven total tackles. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a pivotal interception by Terry Moore gave Jacksonville a glimmer of hope, but the Raiders' defense held firm, sealing the win and denying the Jaguars a chance for a last-minute comeback.
