In a commanding performance, the Houston Texans topped the Tennessee Titans 35-10 in Week 8 of the 2028 season. The victory solidifies the Texans' position in the playoff race, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Taylen Green led the charge for Houston, throwing for 291 yards and two touchdowns, while also connecting effectively with Nyck Harbor, who racked up 119 receiving yards. Harlem Berry contributed a solid ground game with 71 rushing yards, helping to control the tempo and keep the Titans' defense on their heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Texans were equally impressive, with Treydan Stukes snagging an interception that shifted the momentum in Houston's favor. The key turning point came in the second quarter when Stukes' pick set up a touchdown, extending the Texans' lead and putting pressure on the Titans to respond. Despite a strong effort from Tennessee's Wit Weeks, who recorded 11 total tackles, the Texans' all-around performance proved too much to overcome.
