In a stunning Week 7 matchup, the Houston Texans dominated the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 62-14, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their position in the league. This decisive victory not only boosts the Texans' confidence but also raises questions about the Cowboys' ability to compete as the season progresses. Leading the charge for Houston was their star quarterback, who threw for an impressive 583 yards and seven touchdowns, marking a standout performance that left the Cowboys' defense scrambling. In addition, the Texans' receiving corps excelled, with one player racking up 154 receiving yards, proving to be a consistent threat throughout the game. Meanwhile, the ground game was less impactful, with the top rusher managing only 37 yards, underscoring the team's reliance on aerial attacks. Defensively, the game was marked by a few standout efforts, but the Texans’ defense remained largely untested due to the offensive onslaught. The Cowboys’ Kyngston Villiamu-Asa led all players with 17 tackles, though his efforts were in vain as the Texans' scoring continued unabated. The turning point came early in the second half, when Houston scored back-to-back touchdowns, effectively sealing the game and leaving Dallas unable to recover from the mounting deficit.
