In a hard-fought defensive battle, the Chicago Bears defeated the Green Bay Packers 17-9 in Week 4 of the 2028 season. The win keeps the Bears in contention as they aim to establish themselves in the NFC North standings. Bryce Young led the Bears' offense with a crucial touchdown pass, while Justin Herbert of the Packers threw for 217 yards but struggled to find the end zone. Ashton Jeanty provided a spark on the ground for Green Bay, rushing for 80 yards, and Jaylin Lane emerged as a key target with 111 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. Defensively, the Bears were dominant, highlighted by Zabien Brown's 12 tackles and a pivotal interception from Jermod McCoy that shifted momentum in their favor. The game's turning point came in the fourth quarter when McCoy's interception halted a promising Packers drive, allowing the Bears to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win.
