In a decisive Week 15 showdown, the Washington Commanders topped the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 36-17, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season winds down. The victory not only boosts the Commanders' confidence but also puts pressure on the Falcons to regroup as they fight for their postseason hopes. Willie Beaman led the charge for Washington, throwing for two touchdowns while guiding the offense with poise. Alvin Kamara was a force on the ground, racking up 94 rushing yards and contributing to the Commanders' balanced attack. Sam Darnold of the Falcons managed to throw for 277 yards and keep his team competitive, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Commanders made crucial plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Blake Cashman led the defense with eight tackles, while Brandon Jones snagged an interception that halted a Falcons drive and set the tone for the second half. The turning point came midway through the third quarter when the Commanders scored a quick touchdown off that turnover, giving them a comfortable lead that Atlanta could not overcome.
