The San Francisco 49ers topped the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 30-20, solidifying their playoff contention in a crucial Week 14 showdown. Both teams entered the game hungry for a victory, but it was the 49ers who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive resilience. Jared Goff led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for 295 yards and a touchdown, while James Cook III made a significant impact on the ground with 109 rushing yards. Wan'Dale Robinson was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 142 yards, proving to be a reliable target for Goff throughout the contest. Defensively, the 49ers were bolstered by Renardo Green's interception, which shifted momentum in their favor at a critical juncture. Despite a strong performance from the Rams’ Robert Spillane, who recorded eight tackles, San Francisco's ability to make pivotal plays on both sides of the ball ultimately determined the outcome. The game turned when Green's interception halted a Rams drive, allowing the 49ers to extend their lead and maintain control until the final whistle.
