In a high-scoring matchup, the Dallas Cowboys topped the Indianapolis Colts 42-30 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, Dallas showcased their offensive prowess, delivering a commanding performance that keeps them in contention for a top seed in the playoffs. Justin Herbert was the standout performer for the Cowboys, throwing for an impressive 355 yards and four touchdowns. His connection with Donald Parham Jr. was particularly lethal, as Parham racked up 128 receiving yards, contributing significantly to the Cowboys' offensive explosion. Meanwhile, Eric Dickerson kept the Colts competitive with a solid 101 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Cowboys' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Cowboys made key plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Azeez Al-Shaair led the team with 10 tackles, helping to stifle the Colts' attempts to mount a comeback. The game’s turning point came when TJ Parker recorded a critical sack, forcing Indianapolis into a tough third down that ultimately stalled their drive and allowed Dallas to maintain control of the game.
