In a decisive Week 8 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the New York Jets with a commanding 28-7 victory, asserting their dominance in the 2026 season. The win not only boosts the Raiders' playoff hopes but also marks a significant setback for the Jets, who are struggling to find their footing this year. Kyler Murray was the star of the show for Las Vegas, throwing for two touchdowns while showcasing his dual-threat ability. Bo Jackson added a powerful ground game, racking up 115 rushing yards to keep the Jets’ defense on their heels. On the other side, Bo Nix led the Jets with 276 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Raiders’ offensive firepower. Defensively, the Raiders had a strong showing, highlighted by Jihaad Campbell's three tackles and Greg Rousseau's sack, which disrupted New York's rhythm. The turning point came early in the second half when Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah intercepted Nix, setting up another scoring drive for Las Vegas. This defensive momentum shifted the tide firmly in favor of the Raiders, sealing their victory with authority.
