In a dominant display, the San Francisco 49ers routed the Atlanta Falcons 45-10 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications looming, San Francisco solidified its standing in the league with a decisive victory over Atlanta, who struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. San Francisco's offense was firing on all cylinders, led by quarterback Jared Goff, who threw for 311 yards and showcased his precision with the ball. The ground game was anchored by James Cook III, who rushed for 87 yards, while Wan'Dale Robinson emerged as a favorite target, racking up 119 receiving yards. Sam Darnold managed just one touchdown pass for the Falcons, leaving their offense in search of answers. Defensively, the 49ers were relentless, with Richard Sherman recording two crucial interceptions that shifted momentum firmly in their favor. Josh Sweat contributed with half a sack, but it was the secondary that truly stifled the Falcons' passing game. The turning point came early in the second half, when Sherman’s second interception set up a quick touchdown, effectively sealing the game and leaving Atlanta reeling for the remainder of the contest.
