The Houston Texans topped the Indianapolis Colts 42-21 in a decisive Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the year, the Texans made a bold statement with this commanding victory. Quarterback Joe Milton led the charge for Houston, throwing for 297 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect downfield. Running back TreVeyon Henderson added a powerful ground game, racking up 118 rushing yards, and providing the Texans with a balanced offensive attack. Meanwhile, Colston Loveland stood out for Indianapolis, accumulating 96 receiving yards, but it was not enough to keep pace with Houston's explosive offense. The Texans' defense, anchored by Reed Blankenship with three tackles, played a crucial role in the game's outcome, preventing the Colts from mounting any significant comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Milton threw back-to-back touchdowns, pushing the lead to 28-7 and leaving Indianapolis scrambling to respond. Despite efforts from Josh Metellus and Andre Cisco, the Colts could not recover from the Texans' offensive onslaught.
