The Kansas City Chiefs secured a decisive 30-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff positioning. With the stakes high, both teams were looking to make a statement as the regular season draws to a close. Patrick Mahomes was the standout performer, throwing for 277 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his elite playmaking ability. RJ Harvey contributed on the ground with 32 rushing yards, while George Pickens of the Chargers stood out in the receiving game, racking up 106 yards, though it wasn't enough to turn the tide for his team. Defensively, the Chargers struggled to contain Mahomes, who dissected their secondary with precision. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mahomes connected on two touchdown passes in quick succession, building an insurmountable lead. While Paulson Adebo led the Chargers with five tackles and Roquan Smith recorded a sack, their efforts couldn't halt the Chiefs' offensive onslaught.
