In a commanding performance, the Miami Dolphins topped the Los Angeles Chargers 38-14 in Week 16 of the 2026 season, securing a crucial win as they gear up for the playoffs. The Dolphins showcased their dominance at home, putting the Chargers' postseason aspirations in jeopardy with this decisive victory. Malik Willis led the charge for Miami, throwing for two touchdown passes while Tyjae Spears anchored the ground game with an impressive 105 rushing yards. On the other side, Mac Jones put up solid numbers for the Chargers, finishing with 228 passing yards and George Pickens contributing 86 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Miami's explosive offense. Defensively, the Dolphins were relentless, with Khalil Mack recording 2.5 sacks and Calen Bullock snagging two interceptions to thwart any comeback attempts from Los Angeles. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Bullock's first interception set up a quick touchdown, shifting the momentum firmly in Miami's favor. Brian Branch’s ten tackles underscored the Dolphins' defensive prowess, ensuring they maintained control throughout the game.
