In a commanding season opener, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Denver Broncos 37-23, showcasing their offensive prowess and setting the tone for the 2027 campaign. With both teams looking to establish early momentum, the Ravens emerged victorious, demonstrating their strength on both sides of the ball. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer, throwing for 285 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading the Ravens' offense. Kendre Miller made significant contributions on the ground, rushing for 101 yards, while Marvin Mims Jr. shone in the receiving game with 126 yards. Together, they orchestrated a balanced attack that kept the Broncos' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Ravens made crucial plays that helped secure their win, highlighted by Aidan Hutchinson's two sacks and Mekhi Blackmon's interception. The game's turning point came when Jackson connected with Mims for a touchdown that extended the Ravens' lead to 17 points in the third quarter, putting the Broncos in a tough position. Despite a valiant effort from Dre Greenlaw, who recorded ten tackles for Denver, the Ravens' defense proved too formidable, sealing the game with consistent pressure and key stops.
