In a thrilling Week 14 matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-23, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season winds down. Both teams entered the contest looking to bolster their postseason hopes, but it was Pittsburgh who emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. C.J. Stroud led the charge for the Steelers with an impressive 302 passing yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Meanwhile, Cam Skattebo contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 92 rushing yards to keep Jacksonville's defense on its heels. On the other side, Justin Fields threw three touchdown passes for the Jaguars, but it wasn't enough to secure the win, as Garrett Wilson's 144 receiving yards highlighted Jacksonville's offensive efforts. Defensively, the Steelers made key plays that turned the tide in their favor, with Cam Heyward recording 1.5 sacks to pressure Fields throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Pittsburgh's defense stifled a critical drive, allowing just a field goal and preserving their lead. As the final whistle blew, it was clear that the Steelers' defensive resilience played a crucial role in their hard-fought victory over the Jaguars.
