In a tightly contested matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks 14-13 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications hanging in the balance, both teams fought hard, but it was the Chiefs who managed to hold off the Seahawks in the final moments. Patrick Mahomes showcased his skills once again, throwing for 161 yards and a touchdown, leading the Chiefs' offense. Brock Bowers was his top target, racking up 63 receiving yards, while Christian McCaffrey of the Seahawks put on a strong performance on the ground with 90 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Chiefs made their mark with Tremaine Edmunds recording two sacks, applying pressure on the Seahawks' quarterback throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Mahomes connected with Bowers for a crucial touchdown, giving Kansas City just enough cushion to secure the victory as Seattle's last drive fell short.
