In a dominant display, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the New Orleans Saints 40-7 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Steelers continue their push for playoff positioning, while the Saints struggle to find their footing in a challenging campaign. C.J. Stroud led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for 191 yards and one touchdown, showcasing his ability to command the offense efficiently. Meanwhile, Cam Skattebo had a standout performance on the ground, racking up 139 rushing yards and breaking through the Saints' defense with ease. Although Cole Kmet topped the Saints in receiving with 60 yards, the New Orleans offense struggled to find any rhythm. The Steelers' defense was equally impressive, highlighted by Mansoor Delane's interception that shifted momentum firmly in Pittsburgh's favor. Will McDonald IV contributed a strong effort with 1.5 sacks for the Saints, but it was not enough to contain the explosive Steelers offense. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Delane's pick set up a quick touchdown, sending the Steelers on their way to an emphatic victory.
