In a tightly contested battle, the Minnesota Vikings narrowly defeated the New England Patriots 20-17 in Week 14 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Vikings who emerged victorious in the end. Kyler Murray led the Vikings' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 217 yards and one touchdown. Joe Mixon was a key contributor on the ground, racking up 77 rushing yards, while Jordan Addison added 56 receiving yards to keep the chains moving. Together, they provided the necessary firepower to secure the win. Defensively, the Vikings were anchored by Blake Cashman, who made a significant impact with 10 total tackles. While the Patriots' Milton Williams tallied two sacks and Carlton Davis III recorded an interception, it was Minnesota's defense that made crucial stops down the stretch. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Vikings' defense held the Patriots to a field goal, allowing Minnesota to maintain their slim lead and ultimately finish the game on top.
