In a decisive Week 13 matchup, the New York Giants topped the San Francisco 49ers with a commanding 38-17 victory. With playoff implications on the line, the Giants showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, solidifying their position in the postseason race. Quarterback Jaxson Dart led the charge for New York, throwing for 254 yards and two touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the offense. Running back Cam Skattebo contributed significantly with 86 rushing yards, while Tyreek Hill was a consistent target, racking up 99 receiving yards. This trio proved too much for the 49ers to handle throughout the game. Defensively, the Giants were relentless, with Brian Burns leading the charge with two sacks, applying pressure on the 49ers’ offense. The turning point came in the second quarter when Burns' sack resulted in a fumble recovery, shifting momentum firmly in favor of New York. Despite a strong tackling effort from Deommodore Lenoir of the 49ers, who recorded 10 total tackles, the Giants' defensive prowess ultimately sealed the victory.
