In a decisive Week 13 matchup, the Atlanta Falcons dominated the Detroit Lions, securing a commanding 45-10 victory. With playoff implications on the line, the Falcons showcased their offensive prowess, while the Lions struggled to keep pace, ultimately falling short in a critical contest. Jalen Milroe led the charge for Atlanta, throwing for three touchdowns and demonstrating pinpoint accuracy throughout the game. Bijan Robinson was a force on the ground, racking up 93 rushing yards, while Zachariah Branch proved to be Milroe's favorite target, also accumulating 93 receiving yards. Despite a strong performance from Jared Goff, who amassed 249 passing yards for Detroit, the Lions couldn't find the end zone with any consistency. Defensively, the Falcons were relentless, with Christian Harris leading the team with six total tackles and Gervon Dexter Jr. contributing a sack to disrupt Goff’s rhythm. The turning point of the game came in the second quarter when Atlanta scored back-to-back touchdowns, extending their lead to a comfortable margin that left Detroit scrambling. With Derrick Moore's lone interception for the Lions, it was evident that the Falcons' defense played a crucial role in stifling any comeback attempts.
