In a decisive showdown, the Minnesota Vikings topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 35-14 in Week 11 of the 2026 season. This victory not only solidifies the Vikings’ playoff aspirations but also serves as a critical blow to the 49ers' hopes of a postseason berth. Leading the charge for Minnesota was quarterback Kyler Murray, who threw for 201 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his dual-threat ability. Jordan Mason provided a strong ground game, accumulating 82 rushing yards and adding balance to the Vikings' offensive attack. Meanwhile, Mike Evans of the 49ers was the standout receiver, recording 57 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Minnesota's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Vikings were effective in limiting the 49ers' scoring opportunities, pressuring the quarterback and forcing crucial mistakes. The turning point came early in the second half when Minnesota’s defense stifled a San Francisco drive, leading to a key interception that shifted momentum firmly in the Vikings' favor. Despite Renardo Green’s 11 tackles and Gracen Halton’s sack for the 49ers, they struggled to contain Minnesota's explosive offense.
