In a decisive matchup in Week 10 of the 2026 season, the Detroit Lions triumphed over the New England Patriots with a final score of 27-3. The victory solidified the Lions' position in the playoff race, while the Patriots continue to search for answers on offense. Jared Goff was the standout performer for Detroit, throwing for two touchdowns and spearheading a balanced attack. Meanwhile, Drake Maye of the Patriots tallied 244 passing yards, but struggled to find the end zone, with his best target, Romeo Doubs, racking up 95 receiving yards. Jahmyr Gibbs contributed on the ground, though his 35 rushing yards were not enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Lions made their mark with a critical performance, highlighted by two interceptions from Derrick Moore that shifted momentum firmly in Detroit’s favor. Kerby Joseph led the Lions with five tackles, maintaining pressure on the Patriots' offense throughout the game. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Moore’s second pick set up a touchdown, giving the Lions a commanding lead that the Patriots could never recover from.
