The Indianapolis Colts topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 14-7 in a tightly contested Week 18 showdown that had playoff implications on the line. With this victory, the Colts solidified their postseason position, while the Jaguars' hopes for a late surge were dashed in a hard-fought battle on the road. Leading the Colts offensively was quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr, who threw for 192 yards and managed to keep the chains moving when it mattered most. Running back Jonathan Taylor added a solid performance with 68 rushing yards, while wide receiver Alec Pierce emerged as a go-to target, racking up 78 receiving yards and providing crucial plays to maintain drives. Defensively, the Jaguars were led by Foyesade Oluokun, who tallied eight total tackles, but it was the Colts' ability to stifle the Jaguars' offensive rhythm that proved pivotal. A key turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Colts' defense held the Jaguars to a critical three-and-out, allowing Indianapolis to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win.
