In a crucial Week 17 showdown, the Houston Texans topped the Green Bay Packers 21-13, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season comes to a close. With both teams vying for momentum heading into the postseason, every play counted in this tightly contested battle. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with a standout performance, throwing for two touchdowns to help secure the win. Meanwhile, Jordan Love of the Packers was effective through the air as well, racking up 231 passing yards and connecting with Jayden Reed, who amassed 119 receiving yards. Josh Jacobs contributed on the ground for Green Bay, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Texans' offensive efficiency. Defensively, the game turned on a pair of critical interceptions by Derek Stingley Jr., which stifled any momentum the Packers hoped to build. Micah Parsons added pressure with 1.5 sacks, but it was the Texans' ability to capitalize on turnovers that ultimately decided the outcome. With the victory, Houston not only claimed the win but also showcased their resilience as they head into the postseason.
