In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the Philadelphia Eagles topped the Houston Texans 20-10, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season winds down. With both teams fighting for momentum, the Eagles were able to secure a vital victory on their home turf. C.J. Stroud led the Texans offensively, throwing for 243 yards and a touchdown, while Nico Collins emerged as his favorite target, racking up 136 receiving yards. However, it was Saquon Barkley who shined for the Eagles, rushing for 119 yards and adding a significant boost to the ground game that kept the Texans' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Eagles made key plays to stifle Houston's offense, with Riq Woolen leading the charge with nine total tackles. The game's turning point came late in the second quarter when Kelee Ringo's interception set up a touchdown drive, allowing Philadelphia to seize control and maintain their lead throughout the second half. Jordan Davis also contributed with a sack, further cementing the Eagles' defensive dominance in the contest.
