In a dominating performance, the Detroit Lions topped the Minnesota Vikings 21-0 in Week 15 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Lions showcased their offensive prowess while stifling the Vikings' efforts to find the end zone. Jared Goff was the standout for Detroit, throwing for 184 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading the charge. Jahmyr Gibbs contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 74 rushing yards, while Amon-Ra St. Brown was Goff's favorite target, accumulating 63 receiving yards. The offensive cohesion proved too much for the Vikings' defense to handle. Defensively, the Lions were relentless, shutting out Minnesota and forcing them to struggle throughout the game. The turning point came early when Detroit's defense set the tone, allowing the offense to build a comfortable lead. Despite Josh Metellus leading the Vikings with three tackles, they could not contain the Lions' explosive plays, resulting in a decisive victory for Detroit.
