In a dominant display to kick off the 2027 season, the Dallas Cowboys topped the Minnesota Vikings 27-10. With both teams vying for an early advantage, the Cowboys established their offensive prowess while the Vikings struggled to keep up. This Week 1 matchup set the stage for what promises to be an exciting season. Quarterback Dak Prescott shined for Dallas, throwing for 345 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. CeeDee Lamb emerged as his favorite target, hauling in 106 receiving yards and proving to be a constant threat downfield. Meanwhile, the Vikings’ Nate Frazier led the rushing attack with a modest 42 yards but found little room to operate against a stout Cowboys defense. The Cowboys’ defense was instrumental in their victory, highlighted by Kristian Fulton’s two interceptions that stifled Minnesota's momentum. DaRon Bland led the team with five total tackles, while Donovan Ezeiruaku added a sack to pressure the Vikings' quarterback throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Fulton’s second interception set up a quick touchdown, putting the Cowboys ahead by 14 points and allowing them to control the game from that moment on.
