In a commanding performance, the Houston Texans triumphed over the New York Giants with a final score of 38-7 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The Texans solidified their playoff ambitions with this decisive victory, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive resilience throughout the game. C.J. Stroud was the standout performer for Houston, throwing for an impressive 393 yards and five touchdowns, demonstrating precision and poise in the pocket. His connection with Tank Dell was particularly lethal, as Dell amassed 121 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to get open and capitalize on Stroud's accuracy. Meanwhile, the Giants' Cam Skattebo did his best to keep his team in the game, rushing for 77 yards, but it was not enough to match the Texans' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with Jalen Pitre leading the charge with four total tackles and an interception, pivotal in stifling any momentum the Giants attempted to build. The game’s turning point came early in the second half when Pitre's interception set up another touchdown for Houston, extending their lead to 28-7 and putting the game firmly out of reach for New York. The Texans’ ability to capitalize on defensive opportunities ultimately sealed their dominant win.
