The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the Carolina Panthers with a decisive 42-10 victory in Week 7 of the 2026 season. This win not only solidifies the Buccaneers' playoff aspirations but also sends a clear message to the rest of the league about their offensive firepower. Baker Mayfield was the standout performer for Tampa Bay, throwing for 283 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense with precision. Jeff Caldwell emerged as his favorite target, racking up an impressive 147 receiving yards. The Buccaneers' ground game also contributed, helping to maintain a balanced attack throughout the contest. Defensively, the Buccaneers were relentless, limiting the Panthers to just 10 points. Key plays included a sack from Rueben Bain Jr. and an interception by Josiah Trotter, both of which stifled any momentum Carolina tried to build. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mayfield connected with Caldwell for a touchdown, extending the lead to 21-3 and effectively putting the game out of reach for the Panthers.
