In a tightly contested Week 7 matchup, the New England Patriots narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears with a final score of 24-20. This victory keeps the Patriots firmly in the playoff hunt as the season approaches its midpoint, while the Bears look to regroup after a hard-fought battle at home. Caleb Williams led the Bears' offensive charge, throwing for 283 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his top target, Luther Burden III, who racked up an impressive 142 receiving yards. Kyle Monangai contributed significantly on the ground, adding 88 rushing yards to keep the Patriots' defense on high alert throughout the game. On the defensive side, Robert Spillane was a standout for New England, recording eight total tackles. However, it was Von Miller's dominance that truly shifted the momentum; his 2.5 sacks put immense pressure on Williams and disrupted Chicago's offensive rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Miller's relentless pursuit led to a critical sack, forcing the Bears to settle for a field goal instead of a potential game-winning drive.
