In a decisive Week 3 showdown, the Houston Texans defeated the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 33-17, demonstrating their offensive prowess while setting the stage for a competitive season. With this victory, the Texans not only secure a crucial win but also assert their dominance in the AFC South early in the 2026 campaign. Woody Marks was the standout for Houston, racking up an impressive 121 rushing yards that helped control the pace of the game. Quarterback play was pivotal as well, with Anthony Richardson Sr. of the Colts throwing for 180 yards but struggling to find the end zone. Keenan Allen also shined for Indianapolis, leading the receiving corps with 66 yards, but it wasn't enough to mount a comeback. Defensively, the Colts had some bright spots, particularly Joey Bosa, who registered 2.5 sacks, applying consistent pressure on Texans quarterback. However, the biggest turning point came when the Texans' offense found rhythm in the second half, effectively neutralizing the Colts' defense. Despite Germaine Pratt's nine tackles and Sauce Gardner's interception, the Colts couldn't halt Houston's momentum, leading to the Texans' comfortable victory.
