The Baltimore Ravens topped the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 38-23 in a decisive Week 2 clash of the 2027 season. Baltimore's victory not only gives them an early edge in the standings but also serves as a statement against a formidable opponent in Kansas City. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for the Ravens, racking up 84 rushing yards and contributing significantly to the offensive effort. Although Patrick Mahomes led all quarterbacks with 238 passing yards and three touchdowns for the Chiefs, it wasn't enough to keep pace with Baltimore's dynamic ground game and scoring efficiency. Defensively, the Ravens made crucial plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Trey Hendrickson's two sacks showcased the pressure applied to Mahomes, while Nate Wiggins' interception provided a critical turnover that halted Kansas City's momentum. This combination of defensive prowess and timely plays ultimately paved the way for Baltimore's convincing win.
