In a pivotal Week 14 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 28-17, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The win was crucial for both teams, with the Vikings looking to maintain momentum and the Patriots fighting to stay in contention. Leading the charge for Minnesota was quarterback Kyler Murray, who threw for 148 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities and making key plays when it mattered most. Receiver Justin Jefferson contributed significantly with 57 receiving yards, providing reliable targets throughout the game. Meanwhile, TreVeyon Henderson of the Patriots put forth a commendable effort on the ground, racking up 122 rushing yards but ultimately fell short of turning the tide. Defensively, the game was marked by strong individual performances, particularly from Robert Spillane, who registered six total tackles for the Patriots. However, the turning point came when Murray's third touchdown pass shifted momentum firmly in favor of the Vikings, allowing their defense to hold off a late-game rally from New England. Despite a solid interception from Kevin Byard III, the Patriots couldn't overcome the significant gap created by Minnesota's offensive efficiency.
