In a commanding performance, the New York Giants defeated the Houston Texans 31-10 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. This victory was crucial for the Giants as they look to solidify their playoff positioning in a competitive conference. Jaxson Dart led the charge for New York with an impressive display, throwing for 284 yards and three touchdowns while also contributing on the ground with 14 rushing yards. His connection with Malik Nabers proved pivotal, as Nabers notched 100 receiving yards, consistently finding space in the Texans' secondary to keep drives alive and score points. Defensively, the Giants made their mark with a solid overall effort, highlighted by Colton Hood's interception that shifted the momentum early in the game. While Will Anderson Jr. of the Texans was a force with three sacks, the Giants’ defense held firm, limiting Houston's offensive production and sealing the win. The turning point came in the second quarter when Hood's pick set up a quick touchdown, pushing the Giants' lead to a commanding 21-3, a deficit the Texans couldn't overcome.
