In a dominating performance, the Philadelphia Eagles topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-6 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. The Eagles looked to solidify their place in the playoff picture, and they did just that with a convincing victory on the road. Jalen Hurts was the star of the night for Philadelphia, throwing for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley showcased his explosive running ability with 171 rushing yards, while Tetairoa McMillan led the receiving corps with 168 yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that kept the Jaguars' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Eagles were relentless, with Andrew Mukuba leading the charge with five total tackles. Nolan Smith Jr. made his presence felt with two sacks, while Jihaad Campbell added an interception, further stifling any chance of a Jaguars comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when the Eagles' defense forced a turnover, leading to a quick touchdown that extended their lead and effectively sealed the game.
