The Denver Broncos secured a decisive 20-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams eager to gain momentum, the Broncos demonstrated their dominance on both sides of the ball. Bo Nix led the way for Denver, throwing for two touchdowns and effectively managing the game. RJ Harvey contributed significantly in the run game, racking up 75 rushing yards, while the receiving corps was supported by a solid performance from the 49ers' Mike Evans, who amassed 96 receiving yards. Despite the Broncos’ offensive firepower, it was their efficiency that ultimately sealed the win. Defensively, Denver's Lukas Van Ness made his mark with a critical sack that disrupted San Francisco's rhythm. The Broncos' defense stifled the 49ers’ attempts to find the end zone, forcing them to settle for field goals. The turning point came late in the second quarter when the Broncos' defense held strong, allowing Nix and the offense to extend their lead before halftime, which they would not relinquish.
