In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the Chicago Bears topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 24-12, securing their first victory of the season. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the 2026 campaign, the Bears emerged victorious, showcasing their strength on both sides of the ball. D'Andre Swift was the standout performer for Chicago, racking up 90 rushing yards and adding an impressive 108 receiving yards, making him a dual-threat throughout the contest. Kyler Murray led the Vikings' offense with 195 passing yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Bears’ explosive play. Despite Murray's efforts, the Vikings struggled to find consistency in their offensive scheme. Defensively, the Bears made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Coby Bryant led the team with three total tackles, while Dillon Thieneman's interception proved to be a critical turning point, halting a potential scoring drive from the Vikings. Overall, Chicago's defense effectively contained Minnesota's offense, allowing them to control the game and secure the win.
