In a tightly contested matchup, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 16-13 in Week 13 of the 2026 season. Both teams were vying for crucial playoff positioning, but it was the Texans who emerged victorious, solidifying their standing in the league. Houston's Jaxson Dart led the charge through the air, throwing for 256 yards, while Pittsburgh's Justin Herbert contributed a touchdown pass but could not match Dart's overall impact. The Steelers relied heavily on their ground game, with Omarion Hampton racking up 87 rushing yards and Tee Higgins stepping up with 93 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the game was marked by key contributions from both sides. Devin Bush recorded a pivotal sack for the Texans, while Cedric Gray led the Steelers with 10 total tackles, showcasing Pittsburgh's defensive resilience. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Marcus Jones intercepted a pass, giving the Texans the chance to control the clock and ultimately seal their victory.
