In a thrilling Week 12 showdown, the Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season heads into its final stretch. This contest was crucial for both teams, with the Bills aiming to maintain momentum while the Chiefs sought to reclaim their dominance in the AFC. On the offensive side, it was Malik Willis of the Chiefs who led the aerial attack with 243 passing yards, though he was unable to find the end zone through the air. Kyler Murray's lone passing touchdown for the Bills proved pivotal, while Cam Skattebo's impressive 91 rushing yards kept the Kansas City offense moving. Garrett Wilson was a reliable target, racking up 89 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Bills made their presence felt, with Kaden Elliss recording a team-high eight tackles to anchor the unit. Jerome Baker's 1.5 sacks disrupted the Chiefs' rhythm, but it was Jaylen Watson's two interceptions that ultimately shifted the game's momentum. His second pick late in the fourth quarter sealed the victory for Buffalo, allowing them to hold off a late-game push from Kansas City.
