The Cleveland Browns secured a convincing 34-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 of the 2026 season. This win solidifies the Browns' position in the playoff race, showcasing their ability to dominate on both sides of the ball when it matters most. Justin Fields led the charge for Cleveland, throwing for 124 yards and a touchdown while also effectively managing the game. Tyquan Thornton emerged as his favorite target, racking up 87 receiving yards, while Jahmyr Gibbs of the Saints provided a commendable effort on the ground with 110 rushing yards, though it wasn't enough to shift the momentum in favor of New Orleans. Defensively, the Browns made critical plays that swung the game in their favor, with Caleb Ransaw standing out by snagging two interceptions. Thomas Harper contributed as well, leading the team with three total tackles. The turning point came when Ransaw's second interception halted a promising Saints drive, allowing the Browns to extend their lead and control the tempo for the remainder of the game.
