In a commanding performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers blanked the Carolina Panthers 24-0 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Buccaneers showcased their dominance, shutting down the Panthers and improving their standing in the league. Leading the charge for Tampa Bay was quarterback Sam Darnold, who threw for one touchdown, while the Buccaneers’ offense consistently found ways to move the ball. Despite the Panthers' Trevor Lawrence throwing for 190 yards, it was the Buccaneers' balanced attack that ultimately proved too much for Carolina, as they accumulated a steady stream of points throughout the game. Defensively, the Buccaneers were relentless, with Tykee Smith leading the way with eight total tackles. The Panthers struggled to find any rhythm, and the game turned decisively in Tampa Bay's favor in the second quarter when they forced a turnover that led to a touchdown, effectively sealing the Panthers' fate and ensuring a shutout victory.
